Why Do We Do What We Do?

Tree of Life is a Christian organization and we believe in Jesus Christ as our risen Lord and Savior. We are moved out of inner compassion for our fellow man who lives in poverty and we believe that recovery is possible, out of poverty.

We do our work from the perspective that we live in a broken world with broken relationships. Man has four relationships: a relationship to the Creator, to fellow man, a relationship to himself and a relationship to creation. We believe that Jesus came to earth to restore these relationships.

Tree of Life chooses to first work on recovery in the relationship to creation, through which we come into contact with our fellow man. This allows him to get acquainted with his Creator and people can make peace with themselves.

Where hearts change, that’s where real change takes place. We do our work in prayer, trusting in Jesus.

Farming

We teach farmers a sustainable and cost-effective way to farm.

Faith

As a Christian organization, we are moved with inner compassion for people living in poverty.

Family

Malnutrition has major consequences: for now and later. We want to give every family the opportunity to build a healthy foundation.

Finance

Good management of finances can make all the difference. We facilitate training for good management of finances.
